Recovery Run

The spin crew at NYSC Somerset had their extended ride last night. Since I could only be with them in spirit, I planned a recovery run to match their start and end time of their ride. Well, I started with them, but I had to call it quits 45 minutes later. I just couldn't hang since I haven't really rested since Sunday's half marathon. Sorry Ladies, I tried my best though. I covered a bit over 4 miles during my 10 minutes per mile jaunt (excluding the warm up of course).

Tonight, there is definitely a strength class and possibly a short little tempo run.

I also made a personal training appointment with the most badass trainer at the gym. His name is George and I can't wait to meet him. If he can't get me to Boston in 2008, I don't think anybody can.

Personal training is the way to go. If George is a good trainer he will push you until you learn to hate him :).

Oh, I fully intend on calling him a sadistic whore every now and then. Can't wait!
